We are excited to announce we are looking for a Vice President of Sales. Are you up for the challenge?
As the VP of Sales your primary responsibility will be to lead the development and execution of the Empower Partnerships sales strategy. In this role, you will be a member of the executive team and will be personally responsible for new business generation and solution creation utilizing traditional business development methodologies.   Strategic selling skills are imperative as the position will have significant contact with senior level executives and prospective clients. Working in a very collaborative environment, you will be responsible for cultivating and nurturing strong relationships with our esteemed client partners and internal teams. This position will report to the CEO.

What you will do as the Vice President of Sales

  • Develop and Execute the Empower Partnerships sales strategy.  This will include existing clients and creating the strategy to target new industries and clients
  • Working collaboratively with internal teams, create sales decks, messaging and go to market strategy
  • Personally execute on the sales strategy along with leading a team
  • Plan sales strategies, conduct weekly strategy meetings, and proactively resolve any challenges that may arise
  • Recommend ideas and strategies related to sales that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company
  • Create sales enablement content in conjunction with marketing
  • Drive big thinking and best practice sharing across cross-selling team with deal structures, pricing options and solution design tailored to client needs
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer from deal qualification through close
  • Be a voice of the market to continually improve and ensure successful outcomes for our clients and our sales strategy
  • Partner with recruiting, marketing, and operations team leadership to assist in team training and development of internal and client teams

What you need to qualify as our next Vice President of Sales

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year College or university; or equivalent combination of education and Recruiting related experience. 
  • 8+  years experience in Sales
  • 2+ years of experience in an RPO or agency setting
  • Strong people skills, along with the desire to build and manage internal and external relationships
  • Exceptional organizational skills including organization of multiple, conflicting priorities at any given time
  • Persuasive communication skills to include business negotiations
  • Thrive in ambiguous, fast paced environment
  • Strategic vision with ability to execute on strategy
  • Comfortable with cold calling and following up on warm leads
