The Vice President of Enterprise Practice Performance will serve as a key leader responsible for developing and executing strategies to optimize the performance in value-based care (VBC) arrangements across our enterprise practice portfolio. Enterprise practices at Aledade include hospital partners, multi-speciality practices, and other large practices / health centers. This role will ensure the seamless integration of enterprise practices within Aledade’s portfolio, provide strategic direction for enterprise practice-driven population health initiatives, and oversee the achievement of enterprise practice-specific objectives and key results. The position also includes a focus on operational excellence, health equity, and collaboration with internal teams to align hospital initiatives with Aledade’s mission and goals.

Primary Duties

  • Enterprise Practice Performance Strategy:
  • Accountable for all aspects of enterprise performance in VBC metrics, including shared savings rates, revenue generation, and KPI achievement in all value-based contracts.
  • Develop an enterprise practice-wide strategy to improve affordability, risk stratification, and quality outcomes within enterprise practices using Aledade’s product and service solutions.
  • Build targeted interventions to address high-risk and high-cost populations in partnership with enterprise partners and market leaders.
  • Product and Technology Collaboration:
  • Provide strategic guidance on product development and enhancements to optimize enterprise practice use of Aledade’s technology and drive performance.
  • Collaborate with Product, Tech, and Data Analytics teams to implement enterprise practice-specific innovations that align with health plan requirements and VBC goals.
  • Enterprise Growth and Market Engagement:
  • Collaborate with Growth, Marketing, and Strategy teams (and key leadership) to expand Aledade’s enterprise partnerships and grow our network.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance enterprise engagement and create scalable solutions to meet performance goals.
  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Serve as an integral member of the Strategy and Priority Leadership Team, contributing to the overall strategic direction of the company.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure hospital initiatives align with organizational priorities, such as health equity and affordability goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of experience in healthcare, with at least 8 years in a hospital network leadership or related field.
  • Proven track record in managing enterprise practice operations, implementing VBC strategies, and achieving financial and quality outcomes.
  • Demonstrated success in working collaboratively with clinical and operational leaders to drive performance improvements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in hospital business models, including revenue cycle management, payer contracting, and integration with VBC arrangements.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare finance, hospital systems, and provider operations.
  • Senior-level experience in hospital strategy, business development, and population health initiatives.
  • Master’s degree or other advanced degrees in business, healthcare administration, or public policy.
  • Managed a high-performing team

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting for prolonged periods, with extensive computer and keyboard use.
  • Ability to travel approximately 30-40% during the first year in the role; reduced to 20-25% in subsequent years.
