Job Type: Independent Contractor, Full-time
Salary Range: Up to $1,500 per month, based on experience
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with core hours between 9 AM – 5 PM EST and 8 AM – 4 PM MT
Locations: Remote, open to candidates in the Philippines, Latin America, and South Africa

Role Overview:
The Telemedicine Patient Coordinator provides empathetic support to patients using our client’s telemedicine services. You will address patient concerns, offer personalized solutions, and collaborate with teams to enhance the patient experience. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential to this role.
Your Impact:
As a Telemedicine Patient Coordinator, you will directly improve patient satisfaction and drive continuous process improvements. Your proactive support and advocacy will help build lasting relationships and contribute to a more seamless, patient-focused telemedicine experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Patient Support and Communication
- Provide empathetic customer service by educating patients about telemedicine services and addressing their concerns.
- Actively listen to patient needs and offer personalized guidance on platform usage and features.
- Maintain proactive communication, ensuring patients receive regular updates until issues are resolved.
2. Problem Solving and Troubleshooting
- Apply strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical or process-related issues.
- Ask thoughtful questions to gather necessary information and provide tailored solutions to each patient’s situation.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level support when necessary to ensure timely and effective resolution.
3. Collaboration and Continuous Improvement
- Document patient feedback and identify recurring issues to improve workflows and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address patient concerns and enhance the overall experience.
- Stay updated on new products, features, and best practices to continuously improve patient support.
Requirements
- Must-Have:
- Medical background with experience in patient support, preferably in healthcare or telemedicine.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on empathy and active listening.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of privacy and data protection regulations (HIPAA).
- Nice-to-Have:
- Familiarity with medical terms, scheduling, and billing processes.
- Experience working with remote teams
- Eagerness to learn and improve continuously.
