Job Description:
As a Sales & Marketing Coach at IMPACT, you’ll work closely with executives, business owners, and sales teams, coaching them to improve their strategies, processes, and overall performance. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that clients achieve their revenue and growth goals, leveraging your experience and industry knowledge to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach companies through the execution of They Ask, You Answer: You’ll be expected to quickly learn the framework and how to deliver it to clients – B2B & B2C (ideal range $5M-$50M annual revenue). Our coaching and training model functions as small teams working on the same portfolio of clients.
- Client Success: Provide strategic insights to help clients structure teams, optimize sales processes, and adopt emerging technologies like AI in order to reach their goals. This will include running coaching calls and challenging CEOs, training sales teams, and facilitating 90-day strategy sessions.
- Travel and Workshops: Travel to facilitate workshops and provide on-site consultations for clients, ensuring strategic alignment and execution of client goals. May be required to travel up to 3 times a month (overnight stay)
- Industry Expertise & Strategic Development: Stay up-to-date on economic trends, AI, SEO, content marketing, video marketing, social media, website best practices, and CRM tools to deliver high-value coaching and strategic recommendations that drive client success.
- Sales, Retention & Upsells: You’ll be responsible for closing deals qualified by the sales team, maintaining your team’s book of business and driving upsell/cross sell conversations for your clients.
Requirements
- Held a leadership position and has experience consulting c-suite executives
- Understands the complexities of running an organization and knows how to help a CEO/organizational leaders navigate change successfully
- Can quickly grasp a wide variety of industries
- Knows how to gain prospect trust quickly and close deals
- Can handle tough conversations (holding clients accountable, underperformers, change management) and negotiations
- Can confidently coach businesses on digital marketing best practices and help them make strategic organizational recommendations
- Has a passion for learning, and is constantly reading, listening, or watching to level up their skills or provide value to clients
- Knows how to balance times of coaching and times of consulting with clients

- You understand the timeless principles of sales and marketing but are flexible enough to adapt to a fluid, experimental approach.
- You’ve led a sales team before and know how to coach others effectively, providing clear direction on both strategy and execution.
- You’re obsessed with learning and staying ahead of industry trends, rapidly absorbing and implementing They Ask, You Answer strategies to drive impactful results.
- You have an optimistic, “we’ll figure it out” attitude that is known for rallying team members in difficult situations.
- You are able to adapt to work within a developed system. We’re not looking for you to build your own – but we are open to feedback and identifying processes that can be improved.
- Lives within 45 minutes of central Connecticut
Salary Range: $135,000 – $175,000
