Title: Sr. Firmware Engineer/i.MX8 Contractor

Location: Hybrid: remote/San Francisco (onsite @bringup)

Term: Contract/Ongoing/ Long Term Potential

Duration: 2+ Months

Potential: Ongoing Contract or Perm

Start Date: ASAP

Requirements

  • Expert in C programming
  • Multicore SoC experience (NXP i.MX8)
  • Linux system configuration and board support package development using Yocto
  • Experience with Linux kernel and device configuration using device tree
  • Uboot development experience
  • Device driver experience for CAN, UART, SPI, Ethernet, MIPI, and DMA
  • RTOS experience (FreeRTOS preferred)
  • Hands-on hardware board bring-up experience
  • Excellent problem solving and debug/analysis skills
