About the role:
Join our creative team within the Public Affairs department, where we focus on societal impact commitments and executive priorities. As a Social Media Manager, you will become an expert in communicating topics such as responsible AI, AI technical skilling, sustainability, and cybersecurity.
What you will be doing:
- Content Production and Curation: Curate, develop, and manage high-quality innovative content, including text, images, videos, and infographics, with the support of the creative team, to resonate with our audience and support brand objectives. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is ideal!
- Content Publishing: Schedule and publish social media content through Sprinklr and manage blog content publishing on WordPress. Occasionally, publishing outside working hours may be required.
- Community Engagement: Monitor and respond to community interactions, fostering a positive and active online presence. Engage with followers, company handles and executives, answer questions, and encourage discussions. Track leading voices in our issue areas and amplify and engage with their content.
- Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze key metrics to measure the effectiveness of social media campaigns and content performance. Provide regular insights to inform future strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, graphic designers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive and integrated content across all channels.
- Stay Current: Keep up to date with the latest social media trends, emerging platforms, tools, and best practices to ensure our strategies remain fresh, innovative and effective.
What you need to be great in this role:
- 3-6 years of experience in social media management, content creation, digital-first copywriting, and community engagement.
- Strong Social Media Writing Skills: Ability to write for both brand social accounts and high-profile C-level executives. Translate nuanced, technical content into engaging social media posts for different audience targets. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills are essential.
- Social Media Content Development: Ideate, outline content copy, and collaborate with designers to develop social media posts, including explainer carousels, infographics, animated videos, long-form content, and more.
- Social and Blog Publishing: Manage the day-to-day publishing of social media content and blog posts, balancing multiple priorities while optimizing content for algorithms.
- Community Engagement and Management: Develop engagement strategies and maintain communication with the community, influencers, and partners to strengthen relationships and boost brand visibility.
- Social Media Analytics: Monitor and analyze social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns and suggest adjustments to strategies.
- Social Media Trends: Stay up to date on social media best practices, trends, and technology, and suggest how to incorporate them into our social content and campaigns. Contribute to the ideation and innovation of our social media strategy.
- Ability to Thrive in a Fast-Paced Environment: Quickly identify and address feedback, analyze the social landscape in real-time, and adapt content accordingly.
- At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $70,000.00 to $85,000.00. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER’s total compensation package.
