City Operations sits at the intersection between the data on the screen and the operations on the ground. We tackle some of Lyft’s most challenging operational landscapes, with Airports, Events and EDU, and serve a wide variety of riders and drivers with our WAV and HVM/Livery products. This role requires a roll-up-your-sleeves mindset and willingness to support wherever needed. One day you may be exploring ways to increase WAV Taxi supply in Chicago, and on another looking at rider behaviors in New York City. Serving on a national team, you will have the opportunity to impact how we scale our operations, increase efficiency and meet our operational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the success of a portfolio of WAV markets
- Ensure day to day tactical execution aligns with the team’s long term strategy
- Own: Partner onboarding, real time monitoring, vendor scorecards and invoice payments
- Serve as point of contact and escalation for our vendors and drivers
- Partner cross functionally with internal Lyft partners across Product Ops, Compliance and Policy. managing laterally is a critical part of this role
- Deep dive into the data to gather insights in order to help identify root causes and recommend solutions
- Uphold the Lyft core values while working with drivers, external partners, and cross-functional teams
- Roll up your sleeves and get stuff done; No one can be counted on to execute faster or better than you
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
- 2+ years of experience in strategy or operations related work preferred
- Strong problem solver: You not only effectively, creatively, and quickly solve complex problems, but you gain buy in from stakeholders in order to sustain your solutions as well
- Excellent time management: You are able to prioritize multiple competing tasks and projects by assessing urgency and importance
- Always a team player: You're positive, optimistic, and willing to help out wherever needed
- Self-directed and organized: You have a bias for action while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to take direction and feedback, as well as open to seeking out support in order to successfully carry out tasks and see projects to completion
- Strong oral and written communication skills, and extreme attention to detail
- Experience with WAV
- Proficient with tools such G Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc) and Excel
- Basic SQL skills preferred
- Experience with process improvement methodologies is a huge plus, but not required

For candidates living in Colorado the expected base pay range is $26.61 to $31.31 per hour and depending on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location.
