The Senior Manager, Partner Marketing oversees Agency & Affiliate Partner Marketing at ActiveCampaign.  In this role, you will drive the marketing strategy around channel and affiliate partner growth, communications and enablement. You will be responsible for programs in collaboration with the Channel Sales team and overall sales team that help to drive growth and success for channel partners and for ActiveCampaign. 

What your day could consist of:

  • Drive partner marketing strategy, propose and prioritize partner marketing programs and initiatives, and manage project execution with accountability for growing our channel business made up of our agency and affiliate programs
  • Oversee a growing team of affiliate marketers who are responsible for creating the affiliate program, attracting affiliates to this program, and ensuring their growth with this program
  • Co-marketing campaign creation & management with agency partners including creation and program management of marketing development funds (MDF) 
  • Leverage a full-stack marketing approach to partner with our agency partners helping grow our business in tandem with their growth, including leveraging digital marketing, brand marketing, and (when appropriate) physical events 
  • Create and manage an agency partner portal 
  • Collaborate with regional teams sharing performance insights and leveraging their local expertise to improve channel campaign effectiveness
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders such as our VP of Platform Strategy, VP of Sales, and channel sales team to track partner agency growth, identify emerging needs and opportunities in partner marketing, and to co-manage key initiatives in tandem with agency partners
  • Enable Channel Account Managers, Partner Account Managers, Customer Success Managers and other groups in the Sales, Success and Partnerships organizations to support and inform partners, and to make needs-based integration recommendations to customers
  • Directly create key marketing assets for use in growing ActiveCampaign’s partner business, including web page content, email content, sales materials, etc
  • Bring insights to the ActiveCampaign organization about emerging trends in the partner landscape, status of the partner business, etc

What is needed:

  • 7+ years of overall experience in B2B or B2C affiliate marketing, as well as people management experience
  • Understanding of SaaS  — and the routes to market utilized to reach these customers
  • Experience working with Business Development / Partnerships and Channel Sales teams 
  • Experience measuring partner marketing success through revenue attribution, multi-touch attribution, and closed-loop reporting 
  • Strong planning and organizational skills required, with experience working closely with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work strategically as a proactive self-starter with independent decision making
  • Readiness to roll up your sleeves and create marketing deliverables
  • Ability to clearly communicate results, key takeaways, and areas of opportunities
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced environment and experimental mentality
  • Experience working with Martech products is a plus
