Sprout Social is looking to hire a Senior Manager, Marketing Campaigns – Expansion to join the Marketing team. This role will report to the Senior Director, Content & Campaigns.

What you’ll do

  • Define the cross-functional campaign strategy for customer expansion, thinking holistically about the customer experience and how to unlock additional value in Sprout to drive growth opportunities.
  • Determine the right campaign themes, cadence and storytelling to reach and engage customers with upsell and cross-sell opportunities at the right moments in their journey.
  • Lead a team that develops and executes expansion campaigns, webinars and growth motions as part of Sprout’s global, integrated campaigns motion.
  • Build a roadmap to develop long-term expansion campaign infrastructure, including the foundation for data-driven and triggered programs and enhanced reporting capabilities, and lead a cross-functional team of partners like Marketing Ops and Analytics in executing this vision.
  • Measure progress toward growth MQL & pipeline targets on a monthly and quarterly basis, making recommendations to stakeholders to drive performance gains.
  • Build strong relationships and collaborate within the Campaigns team and with partners like Customer Marketing, Product Marketing, Brand Creative, Marketing Operations, Content, Sales, Customer Success and Growth.

What you’ll bring

The minimum qualifications for this role include:

  • 8+ years of experience in customer marketing, campaign marketing, demand generation or relevant marketing experience, specifically 4+ years of experience in a B2B SaaS environment including cross-sell and up-sell activities
  • 5+ years of experience developing strategy and managing cross-functional marketing campaigns/projects from vision through execution
  • 4+ years of experience executing standalone and evergreen email marketing campaigns
  • 1+ years of experience managing and leading teams

Preferred qualifications for this role include:

  • Experience working with Salesforce, Marketo, Tableau and Pendo
  • Experience working within the social media marketing industry

Within 1 month, you’ll plant your roots, as you:

  • Experience Sprout’s new hire onboarding program, during which you’ll complete a robust product training and hear from founders and executives about our company vision, strategy and values.
  • Work with your manager to set initial priorities, align on expectations for your role and define key success metrics you’ll use to measure progress.
  • Get to know your team members and dive into how our global, integrated campaign strategy ladders up to the larger goals of the marketing organization. 
  • Familiarize yourself with our marketing strategy, OKRs and Ideal Customer Profile.
  • Start participating in weekly stand-ups, team meetings and marketing rituals. 

Within 3 months, you’ll start hitting your stride as you:

  • Deepen your understanding of Sprout’s customers, platform and personas, as well as the expansion levers and channels used to date.
  • Evaluate past expansion campaigns, analyze results, gather feedback from cross-functional collaborators, and develop your team’s strategy and roadmap.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Sprout’s brand and creative guidelines that enables you to craft clear, engaging customer communications.
  • Contribute to your first expansion campaigns and develop plans for upcoming campaigns as you get to know processes, metrics and key collaborators.
  • Familiarize yourself with Sprout’s webinar program, including content, reporting and opportunities for the customer audience, and work with the Marketing Campaign Manager – Expansion to build further plans. 
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, including Customer Marketing, Product Marketing, Brand Creative, Marketing Operations, Content, Sales and Customer Success.

Within 6 months, you’ll be making a clear impact as you:

  • Implement the strategy and roadmap you’ve developed, assess results and continue to learn and grow.
  • Develop campaign themes, timelines and messaging that support Sprout’s global campaigns and capture standalone opportunities for expansion.
  • Partner with Marketing Ops and Analytics to execute the roadmap for building long-term campaign infrastructure, achieving agreed-upon milestones and keeping stakeholders up-to-date.
  • Present results and recommendations that inform key stakeholders of progress, optimizations and recommendations to improve expansion opportunities. 
  • Proactively share feedback up, down and sideways, helping your team and collaborators grow.

Within 12 months, you’ll make this role your own as you:

  • Test, fail, learn and apply new tactics and operational processes to grow your impact.
  • Evaluate efforts and make plans to scale our expansion campaign strategy, as part of our global integrated campaign strategy, in 2025.
  • Surprise us! Use your unique ideas and abilities to change Sprout in beneficial ways that we haven’t even considered yet.

Sprout maintains a remote workforce in many places in the United States. The base pay range for this role is $115,000.00 – $150,000.00 USD annually. Individual base pay is based on various factors, including relevant experience and skills, the responsibility of the role, and job duties/requirements. In addition to base pay, some Sales and Success roles can earn sales incentives. 

Sprout’s compensation ranges are intentionally broad to allow for our team members' growth within their role. These ranges were determined by a market-based compensation approach; we used data from trusted third-party compensation sources to set equitable, consistent and competitive ranges. We also evaluate compensation bi-annually, identify any changes in the market and make adjustments to our ranges and existing employee compensation as needed.

Base pay is only one element of an employee's total compensation at Sprout. Every Sprout team member has an opportunity to receive restricted stock units (RSUs) under Sprout’s equity plan. Employees (and their dependents) are covered by medical, dental, vision, basic life, accidental death, and dismemberment insurance, and Modern Health (a wellness benefit).  Employees are able to enroll in Sprout’s company’s 401k plan, in which Sprout will match 50% of your contributions up to 6% with a maximum contribution. Sprout offers “Flexible Paid Time Off” and ten paid holidays.
