As a Senior Artificial Intelligence (AI) Analyst, you will play a vital role in leading the development and deployment of AI and Data Science solutions, including Large Language Models (LLMs), to drive innovation at Sinch. As a technical reference for a dynamic and cross-functional team, you will collaborate with your team members to design, train, refine, and deploy deep/machine learning models, besides developing unit/integration tests, providing high-quality documentation, and benchmarking state-of-art models. Moreover, you will own the end-to-end process of the entire ML life cycle (MLOps), from defining the technical problem to deploying the solution, monitoring, and maintenance. Finally, you will have to communicate effectively between the business team and the engineering team to gather and implement project requirements, discuss prioritization, solve possible blocks, and showcase your results.
You will work on the AI Center of Excellence (CoE) team at Sinch. The AI CoE team is responsible for helping Sinch accelerate and expand company-wide adoption of AI technologies, by consolidating resources, establishing best practices, fostering knowledge-sharing, ensuring ethical and compliant AI practices, and mitigating associated risks.
Our tech stack: Python, Docker, Kubernetes, FastAPI, GitLab, GCP, AWS, Databricks, PyTorch, MLFlow, OpenSearch, LangChain, OpenAI LLMs, Gemini LLMs, Open-Source LLMs like LLama.
As a Senior Artificial Intelligence Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
- Experimenting with, applying, and benchmarking new algorithms, with a strong emphasis on NLP tasks (NER, question answering, sentiment analysis, speech recognition, toxicity detection, etc), Generative AI (text-based and multimodal LLMs), and image processing (object recognition, image classification, OCR, etc)
- Setting up proof-of-concepts and transforming them into production-ready features
- Develop and optimize RAG systems to enhance the performance and accuracy of AI models.
- Deploying ML models in the cloud infraestructure
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including business and engineering teams
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
- Communicate technical concepts and project progress effectively to non-technical stakeholders
- Contributing your innovative ideas to enable the development of products using the latest advancements in AI
Requirements
- You are an AI enthusiast who keeps up with the latest trends in AI and ML, and loves to use these new technologies to solve real-world problems
- You love teaching others and sharing knowledge internally and externally via workshops, summits, conferences, blog posts, etc
- You have worked with ML for at least three years
- You have a relevant graduate degree and are familiar with common NLP and ML concepts.
- You have put ML applications in production before and are able to deal with different tasks during the whole Machine Learning life cycle (ML model deployment and maintenance, building and using tools for ML monitoring, CI/CD pipeline design, supporting experimentation with ML models)
- You have built an LLM-based application and are keen to build many more!
- You have experience working with clouds (GCP, AWS, and Databricks)
- You are proficient in Python, embracing good code practices
- You are familiar with Docker and Kubernetes
- You are autonomous within a collaborative environment
- You have advanced or fluent level of English
