As Scrum Master, you’ll serve as a scum master, leading an agile scrum team comprised of developers, UX specialists, business analysts and others in the development and delivery of new, modernized product. You will apply your knowledge of scrum in order to maximize team velocity, remove blockers, and coach the team in agile best practices.

What you’ll do:

• You will lead agile ceremonies, remove blockers, coach a scrum team in agile concepts, and facilitate a technical team’s delivery of a modernized IT system.
• You will coordinate with a project manager, technical leads and other UX specialists to maximize team output.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• You have the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Suitability
• You have experience serving as a scrum master leading the development of a complex, modernized IT system
• You have experience guiding a software development product owner, team, and organization Agile/Scrum concepts, values, practices, and principles focusing on improving team effectiveness.
• You have experience leading discussions and decision-making, and assisting in mediation of conflicts and removal of blockers
• You are an expert in eliciting and documenting business requirements from project stakeholders.
• You understand the fundamentals of iterative development as well as backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition.
• You have experience creating requirement documents (RD) and based on the project need, develop Test Plans (TPs) and Test Cases.
• You understand the basic fundamentals of iterative development as well as backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition.
• You have experience working with distributed software development products and teams, with ability to lead cross functional teams.
• Experience with common Agile practices and service-oriented environments.
