The Salesforce Administrator is a key role on the sales and marketing operations team that will support phData’s expanding sales organization. You will be responsible for Salesforce administration, data cleansing and maintenance, and Salesforce-related sales reporting and analytics.
This is an exciting role that ensures the sales team has the resources, tools, and support it needs to achieve sales goals by working with marketing, finance, leadership, account teams, and global delivery teams.
Required Experience:
- Proven work experience as a Salesforce administrator with demonstrated progressive relevant experience and solid understanding of Sales Operations
- Administrative experience with Salesforce.com is second nature to you
- SFDC Admin Certifications is a plus
- Experience with Salesforce Lightning
- High attention to detail and ability to focus on completing and executing tasks, specifically related to heavy data projects including but not limited to prepping data sets for load, performing validation of exported data,
- Sales mindset; you understand the processes that drive sales success
- Big-picture thinker; you’re able to quickly understand overall business objectives and offer strategic guidance as well as specific, tactical insights
- Pride yourself on earning trust and maintaining confidence with your colleagues

Key Responsibilities include:
Salesforce Support
- Responsible for Salesforce administration, configuration changes, and new development initiatives
- Includes flows, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, dashboards, and reports
- Develop systems to continuously validate that rules, flows, and sales processes are working properly
- Create and maintain users, roles, profiles, security settings, custom objects, permissions, and sharing rules
- Own the communication for any platform changes to end users and key stakeholders
- Responsible for time-sensitive lead validation and new account creation processes as requests come in throughout the day
- Enhance Salesforce data quality through automation and rules and the meticulous management of raw data
- Proactive system maintenance including security reviews, release updates, health check, and optimizer
- Manage the Salesforce sandbox environment
- Provide ongoing end user and key stakeholder training and documentation, including ad-hoc Salesforce support across the organization
- Support Salesforce-related needs of integrated applications, including Sigma, Crossbeam, and HubSpot
Data Maintenance
- Cleanse and modify data that’s inaccurate, duplicate, incomplete, or incorrect to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Verify that data is updated, useful, accurate, and reliable to maintain a high, consistent standard of data quality
- Develop and implement operational data management processes for recurring and ad hoc data-related tasks
- Monitor the quality of data by tracking key performance indicators to altogether prevent or proactively resolve data issues (i.e. know our data)
Sales Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare and analyze ad hoc reports within Salesforce or Google Sheets/Excel to enable senior leadership to make real-time business decisions
- Track long term sales data, performance metrics, and trends to provide data-driven, actionable insights and operational recommendations
- Generate compelling reports, dashboards, and leaderboards, creating visibility and transparency across the sales organization
