We use biotechnology to create sustainable, safe ingredients, formulate simple yet efficacious formulations without the use of over 2,000 harmful ingredients, design packaging to the highest standards of sustainability while having a modern and elegant esthetic, act with transparency and ethics.
The Packaging & Print Production Designer will cross-functionally collaborate with Product Development, Creative, and external vendors to interpret style guides, digital assets and copy into packaging die lines. Finalized and approved files will be directly released to print vendors on quick-turn timelines.  Reporting directly to our Creative Director, this is an excellent opportunity for growth and to design amazing work. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage production deliverables related to packaging and print design throughout the entire process including laying out artwork, prepping production ready files and reviewing both digital and physical proofs/samples for mass production
  • Manage production deliverables related to multiple products packaging throughout the entire process including laying out packaging artwork, prepping production ready files and reviewing both digital and physical proofs/samples for mass production
  • Organize and maintain production files and assets on the design server
  • Produce print ready files handed off by the brand designers
  • Looks for ways to make improvements while staying true to the current systems
  • Organize and maintain production files and assets on the design server
  • Produce production ready artwork
  • Help coordinate and control quality across various packaging manufacturers

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • 5-7 years or more of relevant experience
  • Strong typography, composition and layout skills that ensure integrity of initial design
  • Expert experience with Adobe CC (illustrator, photoshop, Indesign)
  • Sustainable/green packaging experience
  • Strong collaboration, extreme attention to detail, self-management, and organizational skills
  • Experience working with structural packaging engineers on dielines and materials
  • A plus 3D/CAD software (Solidworks, Rhino), Rendering software (Keyshot)
