About the Role
We are looking to hire a creative & smart individual to join us as a Product / UX designer as one of the founding members of our Design team for all of our Products & Experiences at NewtonX. This is ideal for someone that is looking to join a startup to have more impact, learn fast & expand all their skillsets at the same time. You will report either to the Lead Product Designer or the Head of Product, working across our products & organiation. We work in a Troika Model (Design, Eng, Product) to deliver the best possible products to our customers. Our products range from Search solutions, Automation (RPA), Content Management (CMS) and Big Data Systems. You will also be a key contributor to our future products & experience for all of our customers (both internal and external).
The role is New York preferred but remote is available (EST working hours)
Responsibilities
- Create Designs & Mockups for new features & improvements
- Create Designs, Mockups & Prototypes for new products
- Work closely with the Product team to understand upcoming needs, and work proactively on enhancements
- Research and test new products & designs
Required
- Bachelor of Science / Master of Science in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or similar field
- 2+ years of Enterprise design experience (as UX/Product Designer)
- Experience in Design Software (Sketch, Figma)
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Portfolio demonstrating exception design principles, creative flair and ease of use
- Portfolio demonstrating exception design principles, B2B/Internal Tools, Web Applications, creative flair and ease of use
Bonus Skills
- Knowledge of Market Research
- Experience with the AntD design framework
- UX Research in a B2B Space
- Experience in creating/building upon a custom Design Framework
