Key Responsibilities
Ability to envision multifunctional/multilayered requirements so they maintain consistency in existing tools as well as Nextgen Tools already in development or under consideration by leadership. Designs and develops improvements to current operational processes to ensure they are consistent, compatible, and effective across functions and groups. Defines specifications and data models for product development and testing. Monitors results of process changes through data mining and analysis. Responsible for the design of the user interfaces to create a better user experience. Considers preexisting human/automated processes while directing process implementation strategies. Responsible for tracking and frequently auditing processes, procedures, and SLAs/OLAs to ensure operational success. Assesses available technologies and system architecture, recommending solutions to support business processing needs. Analyzes business problems/needs and designs application/process-based solutions. Maintains thorough understanding of product catalog and business structure, as well as the various business processes. May also own and catalog tools used in operations by the various functional teams. May play a key role in the training of customer and technical support personnel.
Knowledge
Advanced knowledge of business processes, procedures and operations to manage processes and create requirements for product development. Advanced knowledge of business, product line, infrastructure and support application tools and how they interface with each other. Advanced process management and technical business analysis skills. Advanced time management, communications, decision-making, presentation, human relations, and organization skills. Advanced attention to detail and excellent follow-through. Advanced knowledge pertaining to the implementation, analysis, and execution of corporate process improvement initiatives and applications. PCs and various software applications, including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio. Thorough understanding of relational database structure/tools, API’s, XML and JSON. Ability to communicate technical information and ideas so others will understand. Ability to write technical documentation that illustrates product capabilities and design. Ability to make appropriate decisions considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions. Ability to successfully work and promote inclusiveness in small groups. Ability to mentor lower-level process engineers. Must be able to interact and communicate ideas with all executive and management levels. Ability to think outside the box. Ability to provide FANATICAL support.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
Physical Demands
General office environment. Low levels of stress may occur when tracking and frequently auditing processes. May require long periods sitting and viewing a computer monitor. No special physical demands required.
