About the Opportunity:
First Help Financial, voted and certified as a “Great Place to Work” by our workforce for three years in a row, is adding a new partner to our Credit Division team to accommodate our remarkable growth!
Reporting directly to the Director of Credit Program Management, you will lead industry market research and analysis activities to provide information regarding sales potential and market conditions for FHF’s various programs. You will also implement and oversee the organization’s market research program, which includes analysis of origination volume, trends, and new and existing product and service markets.
What you will do:
You will report directly to the Chief Credit Officer, and the duties include, but are not limited to:
- Collect and update market intelligence such as lender’s program guidelines and rate sheets.
- Conduct market research for new programs by visiting and communicating with dealerships.
- Solicit dealers for program feedback and improvement opportunities.
- Support the Credit Program Director for the development and execution of a detailed program strategy.
- Partner with Credit Program Managers for continuous program improvements and tweaks.
- Collaborate with multiple departments (Outside Sales, Sales Operations, Credit, Funding, and more) to develop marketing materials and the strategy to communicate program changes and enhancements to dealers effectively.
- Interprets and predicts consumer and dealership trends through the use of analytic techniques.
- Projects market potential and estimates market penetration.
- Monitors research projects and prepares reports for management’s use regarding market conditions, market potential, sales forecasts, and information on competitors.
What You Bring:
- Require 5+ years market research or related experience in auto lending or dealerships.
- At least 5 years of experience in managing dealer relationships.
- In-depth knowledge of competitor programs and their product offerings.
- Expertise in gathering competitor intelligence, programs, and dealer feedback.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with experience presenting to senior management.
- Strong project management and analytic skills are plus.
