Challenges You Will Solve
As our IT Systems Administrator you will be responsible for developing and maturing people-first technology experiences and processes that enable new and current Red Canary employees to make their greatest impact in a 100% cloud based environment. In this role, you’ll be part of the technology team empowering Red Canary to excel. With your patience, energy, resourcefulness, and drive to create great experiences, you will build elegant, intuitive experiences that allow Red Canary to continue to grow, move quickly and be a strong security ally to our customers.

What You’ll Do

  • Contribute to streamlined technology experiences that embody our company values
  • Provide tier-3 escalation support troubleshooting the most difficult end user issues
  • Write and review code and manage code repositories in the IT environment
  • Develop processes, scripts and automations to streamline our IT Operations including onboarding, offboarding, access provisioning, and day-to-day operations
  • Maintain our endpoint management solutions (JAMFIntune) deploying patches, application installations, OS deployments, self-service tools, and security configurations
  • Run IT projects and engage with business partners to improve IT services and processes
  • Assist in implementation and integration of IT SaaS software and services 
  • Provide network and audiovideo administration for our Denver corporate office 
  • Nurture the employee-centric culture and strive to be the best representative of the IT department to your fellow canaries
  • Must be available for on-call duties as required

What You’ll Bring

  • More than 2+ years in an IT Support or Endpoint Administration role
  • Previous experience working in Cloud Native environments is required
  • Expertise with Okta is required, showcasing solid understanding of SAML, SCIM and RBAC
  • Adept with managing projects, developing requirements, and tracking progress
  • Experience implementing automation and writing scripts to improve IT Team efficiency andor improving end-user experiences 
  • Proficiency in IT networking concepts, protocols, and systems. Confident ability to troubleshoot and optimize network performance 
  • A high degree of empathy for our internal customers, and feel the only measure of success is how well we fulfill their needs
  • A demonstrated ability to create elegant documentation that empowers people to help themselves
  • A passion for improving the human experience with technology at work
  • An ability to communicate technical concepts and processes thoughtfully and effectively, no matter the audience
  • Experience using a ticketing system to triage and escalate tickets, preferred
  • Experience writing and reviewing code using an IDE and online repositories, preferred
