OUR VISION: THE WORLD. SUBSCRIBED.
Customers have changed. They’re looking for new ways to engage with businesses. Consumers today have a new set of expectations. They want outcomes, not ownership. Customization, not generalization. Constant improvement, not planned obsolescence.
In the old world (let’s call it the Product Economy) it was all about things. Acquiring new customers, shipping commodities, billing for one-time transactions. But in today’s new era, it’s all about relationships. More and more customers are becoming subscribers because subscription experiences built around services meet consumers’ needs better than the static offerings or a single product.
Our vision is “The World Subscribed” where one day every company will be a part of the Subscription Economy® (a phrase coined by our CEO, Tien Tzuo and author of the best selling book Subscribed).
As consumers wave goodbye to ownership, join us as we help companies win on their journey to usership!
THE TEAM
Our Information Technology (IT) team is Zuora's internal technology organization, responsible for creating technology experiences that connect our teams, drive business alignment and build a stronger, more collaborative work “place.” With a cloud-first approach, we empower our global ZEOs with increased productivity and self-service to enable company growth, scale, and flexibility while hardening our security and compliance posture.
Within IT, Enterprise Applications are covered by three teams: Front Office/Go-To-Market, Finance & Administration, and Quote-to-Cash (QTC). This position reports to the Sr. Director Applications; it currently has two business system analysts as direct reports plus openings for two offshore system administrators. Additionally, there is indirect support by a mix of project managers, scrum masters, architects, and developers.
THE OPPORTUNITY / YOUR MISSION
In this critical role, you will directly contribute to IT’s vision to make Zuora the world’s best-run subscription business, powered by Zuora’s own SaaS suite:

- You will partner with the Finance QTC program team to drive continuous improvement and best practices within our own QTC people, processes, policies, and tools.
- As a product owner for the QTC applications, you will define the vision and anticipate business needs, prioritize user stories through backlog refinement, act as a liaison between development team and business stakeholders, and drive sprints with operational rigor.
