About the FP&A Director Position:

Stord is a logistics leader committed to providing fulfillment solutions, powered by proprietary technology, that improve customer experience, reduce costs, and drive operational efficiency.. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced FP&A Director to join our finance team and be a strategic business partner to Stord’s product leadership team. What You'll Do: 

  • Partner with senior leadership to understand business dynamics and identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Act as strategic financial partner in driving forecast and budgeting activities
  • Evaluate potential investments, assess market opportunities, and analyze the financial implications of various strategic initiatives
  • Lead the financial reporting across product lines, providing insights into performance and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including go-to-market, operations, and HR to gather data and insights to provide deeper insights beyond just financial numbers
  • Present clear and concise financial reports to executives and stakeholders, offering actionable recommendations
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) utilizing industry and internal benchmarks
  • Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the FP&A function, enhancing the overall effectiveness of the team

What You'll Need:

  • 10+ years of experience in FP&A field; 3+ years at senior (Director+) level
  • Bachelors degree in Finance or related field; MBA preferred
  • Experience in both Business Unit and Corporate-level roles
  • Experience owning the financial management of a P&L across multiple business lines 
  • Proficiency in driver-based modeling
  • M&A experience from a modeling, diligence, and consolidation basis
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a track record of effective collaboration with technical, business, and operations teams.

Bonus Points:

  • Proficiency in Google suite, Microsoft Excel, and FP&A software (e.g. Oracle Essbase, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Mosaic, etc.)
  • Building out teams
  • Experience supporting multi-national business
  • M&A integration experience
