Position Overview: 

As we continue our mission to be the market-leading offensive security platform for the enterprise market, we are looking for our first Founding Account Executive to spear head Chariot’s growth in North America. You will work closely with the VP of Sales to drive revenue objectives, shape our business development strategies, and build our sales playbook. You will support the full sales cycle with a focus on growing the pipeline, creating relationships with key enterprise clients, and contributing to the overall growth strategy of the company. 

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the offensive security industry, a strong track record in navigating complex software sales processes, and superb communication and presentation skills with the ability to deliver product demonstrations and build compelling proposals.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Operating as a player/coach with responsibility for account development and relationship nurturing by maintaining and targeting new logos in North America, engaging stakeholders across a complex and consultative sales process.
  • Driving revenue growth and attainment by identifying, capitalizing on, and closing new business opportunities, surpassing monthly/quarterly sales targets through the pursuit of new opportunities and the introduction of new products to existing accounts.
  • Collaborating with the VP of Sales to prioritize opportunities, develop individual account strategies, and allocate appropriate resources.
  • Tracking all opportunities and customer details, including use cases, stakeholders, meeting outcomes, and actions in Salesforce.com.
  • Staying informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging threats in the cybersecurity landscape.
  • Sharing insights and feedback with the product and marketing team to help shape our offerings and messaging.
  • Leveraging your network and partnering with marketing colleagues to identify opportunities to expand and strengthen the Praetorian brand and engage prospective clients early on to understand their landscape.
  • Partnering with the wider sales, marketing, and product teams to contribute to marketing campaigns, product launches, enhancements, and the refinement of our product positioning.

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Prior cybersecurity industry experience. This is a hard requirement given the complexity of our industry
  • Showcase a proven track record of success, earning recognitions like President’s Club.
  • Experience selling software solutions to Fortune 1000 enterprises
  • Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies emphasizing storytelling and value proposition.
  • Track record of achieving short-term results while maintaining long-term revenue growth.
  • Experience collaborating with marketing, product, and customer success teams to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Skilled in engaging C-level executives with excellent communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with disciplined pipeline management and proactive team communication.
  • Eager to join as an early revenue employee, contributing to our expansion and team development.

+1 Qualifications: 

  • Familiarity with intent data platforms such as 6Sense and ZoomInfo
  • Past experience implementing a product GTM motion from the ground up
  • Prior experience selling Managed Service offerings in the cybersecurity sector
