About You
The Executive Account Manager operates as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to their module of House accounts as well as their module of Agent accounts. The role of an Account Manager includes building and maintaining strong, long-lasting Customer and Agent relationships by providing quality support on an ongoing basis. The AM will be responsible for consulting on vendor selection for new products and services, negotiating agreements to maximise profit, overseeing the renewal of House and Agent agreements, and upselling products and solutions within their supported module. In addition, they will be called on for Base Migration support and selective Project Management for Enterprise Accounts.
What you’ll do and how you’ll have an impact
- Upsell, renew and grow the existing customer/agent base by building rapport and maintaining a trusted relationship with assigned clients and Technology Advisors
- Ability to meet monthly sales quotas as well as monthly/YTD Provider quotas
- Deliver annual list of renewal accounts to agents to track for expirations
- Proactively reach out to Agents as well as house accounts within 120 days of contract term date to discuss growth opportunities
- Set and attend customer facing meetings to perform account inventory reviews. Set quarterly business reviews (QBR’s) with all Enterprise accounts within the assigned module
- Thoroughly qualify all customer/agent opportunities for accurate solution delivery
- Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to close sale as required
- Create and/or request proposals, cost comparisons, set up conference calls with Providers, perform full account inventory audits and manage resources to present value to the client
- Accurately maintain and document client account activity in SalesForce CRM for all existing and new accounts
- Attend vendor training for product knowledge to build business solutions
- Highly dependent on self-training via our online training academy
- Project Management support on assigned enterprise accounts
- Support role on Base Migrations/Asset Transfers
What we’re looking for
- BA/BS degree
- 5+ years professional selling experience in high-tech or service related industry with a proven track record of consistently exceeding corporate objectives and quotas
- Experience with developing partner networks and a track record of successful year over year revenue growth through the channels
- Advanced knowledge of industry software and hardware terminology and concepts
- Combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- PMP Training/Certification (AT&T SPOT Certifications, UCAAS Certifications, SAAS/IAAS Certifications, Marketplace on-going training)
- Continue education and get certified and track completion of trainings in the following Cloud Providers
- Knowledge of advanced strategic sales techniques
- Outstanding collaboration skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer-facing, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to effectively position and contrast competitive solutions to the customer
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, results oriented environment
- Ability to analyze data and find opportunities and risks
- Must prove competency in pulling collateral, completing quotes, and be proficient on paperwork for each carrier’s product set
- Efficient with Google G-suite, Salesforce.Com, and various business software applications.
- Extreme attention to details, well organized, with excellent skills in managing time and ability to multitask
