Because when they succeed they make a difference, and when millions of small businesses are making a difference, the world is a more beautiful place.
Xero’s ‘Connected Workplaces’ portfolio offers several products that support small businesses. We support our people to do the best work of their lives so that they can help small businesses succeed through better tools, information and connections. We will do this by bringing together a suite of tools to provide a seamless and personalised experience for the employer and their employees. This is a bold program of work that has significant business support and visibility, and you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with many product teams in Xero to bring our vision to life.
One of our key products in this area is Payroll, and this team exists to make it simple for small businesses everywhere to pay their people correctly and with confidence. Payroll is a meaningful connection point between employers and employees, it’s where effort meets reward; but managing payroll is stressful, the rules are complicated and mistakes can have large repercussions.
The team comprises talented product management, engineering, design and regulatory experts with a passion for helping small businesses succeed. Today we offer payroll solutions into many markets across the globe making the portfolio a key contributor to business success, but it is also a strategically critical part of Xero’s future story.
This role oversees the largest product in our portfolio today – AU Payroll. A significant percentage of all employed Australian’s are paid through our platform every month, making it highly visible from a commercial and regulatory point of view. Our team is on a journey to break the accepted industry norm and reinvent what it means for a small business to pay their people.
