Location: Remote, United States 
As a Business Development (BD) Intelligence Analyst II, you will play a critical role in bridging business intelligence with strategic growth initiatives in the DoD marketplace. You will leverage your technical expertise to gather requirements, design solutions, and support BI reporting and analytic needs, while contributing to long-term business development goals. Your role will include the identification and development of new business opportunities, optimization of sales and partnership strategies, while supporting strategic decision making across the organization. Responsible for driving lead generation efforts through the qualification process, while ensuring alignment with capture strategies and applying established criteria, assessing and prioritizing opportunities for further development. With a strong analytical mindset, solid business acumen, and experience with BI tools, you will turn complex data into actionable insights.  
Additionally, you will manage and monitor the growth team budget by tracking labor hours, expenses, and cost allocations to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and alignment with contract requirements.  You’ll plan and execute industry conference participation, including logistics, budget, promotional materials, and stakeholder engagement to enhance brand visibility and support business development goals.  You’ll work under general supervision, solving technical problems of moderate complexity, and providing subject matter expertise in BI. This position provides opportunities to contribute directly to revenue growth and market expansion. 
The proposed salary range for this position is $80,475-$120,275. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications. RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Assess and qualify business opportunities by analyzing leads from internal sources such as existing IDIQ and GWAC contract vehicles, as well as external platforms like GovWin, to support strategic pipeline development and capture planning  
  • Prepare responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) and Market Research responses to demonstrate our experience and capabilities to customers  
  • Drive lead generation efforts through the qualification process 
  • Conduct in-depth market research focusing on actionable insights into customer behavior, spending patterns, market trends, and budget forecasts 
  • Assist in capture planning by supporting strategy development Contribute to proposal planning and execution 
  • Utilize CRM system to track, manage, and update lead information, monitor progression, and generate pipeline reports for effective decision making 
  • Develop and maintain BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations that support operational and strategic decision-making 
  • Support integration of BI tools with enterprise applications and systems 
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and suitability for analysis by removing duplicates, correcting errors, and transforming data into a usable format.   
  • Provide weekly financial and status reports regarding growth team budget priorities to leadership, supporting informed decision making 
  • Oversee industry conference participation from planning through execution and follow up 
  • Performs other related duties as assigned 

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Clearance: Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance
  • Education and Years of Experience: Bachelor’s with 2- 4 years of relevant experience or a Master’s with 0- 2years of relevant experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data-related roles. Associates with 5 –7 years of experience or High School Diploma with 8 –10 years of experience can also be substituted.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and data modeling skills  
  • Working knowledge of data warehousing concepts and BI integration 
  • Familiarity with the federal procurement process (FAR, IDIQs, GWACs, MACs, etc.) 
  • Hands-on experience using CRM platforms for lead tracking, opportunity management, and dashboard forecasting reporting  
  • Ability to analyze data, communicate finding clearly, and present insights to technical and non-technical audiences 
  • Fundamental knowledge of budget management, including tracking and comparing budgeted amounts to actual expenses 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments 
  • Proactive problem solving and critical thinking abilities 

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with BI platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik 
  • Exposure to Agile or Scrum-based project delivery frameworks 
  • Experience integrating BI solutions with ERP or CRM systems 
  • Certification in business intelligence tools or data analytics platforms
