The Role:
We are seeking a Director of Technology Infrastructure Engineering to lead our Data Center Operations, Networking, Database Administration teams. This role reports to our VP of IT and is responsible for defining, implementing, and executing against our technology strategy to support the launch of Fanatics Betting and Gaming. 
 
Duties and responsibilities may include:
      Attract, build, and manage a best in class team of network and data center managers and engineers.
      Define and manage the network engineering roadmap, working closely with IT and engineering leadership.
      Partner with engineering to implement and support the BetFanatics AWS infrastructure.
      Collaborate with Fanatics commerce to implement and support the BetFanatics office locations.
      Provide leadership and technical expertise within the team.  Be a mentor and role model for Engineering.
      Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, inside and outside of Engineering, and collaborate with leaders to support implementations.
      Provide leadership and technical expertise within the engineering team.  Be a mentor and role model for Engineering.
      Help develop, implement and report SLAs and metrics for the network and data center environments.
 
What skills are important to us:
      10+ years of IT experience and 7+ years of IT leadership experience.
      Demonstrated ability to partner closely with engineering and operations teams.
      Architectural understanding of AWS (preferred), GCP, or Azure and are familiar with cloud native or serverless design patterns and DevSecOps principles (Infrastructure as Code).
      Experience in infrastructure operational support including having exposure to public cloud services and technologies
      Experience with multi-vendor modern network technologies and designs.
      Experience developing and managing internal and external service level agreements.
      Experience hiring, managing, and leading a team of IT professional
      Excellent influencing and problem resolution skills.
      Positive and flexible attitude to work in a fast-paced environment and a willingness to embrace new initiatives.
