About the Role: This role serves as a key contributor to the commercial side of Andela’s Technology Consulting and Professional Services Business. The successful hire will manage a team of Client Partners and be the business owner for a portfolio of accounts, managing the day-to-day activities and P&L of these accounts. This person will proactively collaborate with Client Partners and identify new expansion and strategic opportunities, enhance the number of project opportunities and team up with Talent Matchers to prioritize and drive those opportunities for closure. The Director of Client Partnerships collaborates with delivery partners and Engineering practice leads towards establishing a positive client experience through delivering excellence. This role has high visibility, offers plenty of growth and challenges, and requires a high amount of business insight, leadership qualities, growth mindset and motivated attitude to perform well.
Key Responsibilities:
- This role would be responsible for the overall management and revenue growth of the Client Services Team; which will include Enterprise Client Partners and Delivery Partners.
- Primary responsibility would include managing the team and driving growth of existing accounts and building new accounts from the beginning, and take it to a reasonable revenue
- Important metrics would include Revenue growth, Margin growth and pipeline of opportunities
- Excellent client relationship experience and experienced managing a portfolio of accounts with global enterprise companies
- Expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services
- Partner with practice leads to identify and design the best engagement approach and scope for our clients
- Close sales by building rapport with potential account collaborators, including C – level relationships; explaining product and service capabilities; overcoming objections; preparing contracts
- Build high trust relationships with VP and C-level clients
- Flexible to travel as needed (Client Meetings, Team Offsite etc)
Requirements:
- Minimum 12 years of experience in a client facing role in a consulting firm or an account/engagement management role in the IT professional services industry
- Client partner / Account director profile with experience selling into accounts with a focus on digital consulting services
- Excellent negotiation, conflict management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Prior experience meeting and exceeding revenue targets of similar size
- Experience managing account portfolio, commercials, including pricing, profitability, and contracts
- Previous P&L management responsibilities
