Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of DevOps engineers, build, develop, retain, and motivate a high-performing team
- Establish and continue to improve DevOps processes and practices according to best practices in the industry
- Manage and enhance production hosting operations to deliver top-tier uptime, quality, and resilience exceeding industry standards
- Manage and support all the environments for product development and client services
- Collaborate with infrastructure team to evolve existing infrastructure and tooling according to industry standards and trends and to prepare them for future corporate objectives
- Collaborate with product development team to enhance the delivery and the operation of software products
- Collaborate with other functional stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in security and privacy
- Perform other related duties as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Expert-level understanding of DevOps principles and best practices
- Extensive knowledge of SDLC and its tooling
- Extensive knowledge of Windows and Linux OS
- Proficiency with Windows and Linux scripting
- High-level understanding of web application architecture and technologies
- Working knowledge with virtualization and container technologies such as VMWare and Docker
- Working knowledge with major cloud service platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills, and learning capability
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Experience:
- 8+ years of experience with system and network administration, cloud software services, virtual infrastructure, security and datacenter operations
- 1+ year experience in DevOps manager or lead role
