We are looking for a Corporate Accountant with public accounting experience to help us continue to push the boundaries of what is possible. As part of the finance team, you’ll see the importance of your perspective and your ability to create value. You’ll also inspire and level up the team by producing work that is always raising the bar and sharing your approach to solving problems.

As the Corporate Accountant, you will be responsible for:
· Performing full-cycle accounting including month-end close procedures
· Reviewing operating expenses to ensure proper classification and cut-off
· Performing daily account reconciliations
· Posting journal entries as needed
· Assisting with payroll processing
· Assisting the management team in annual financial statement audits
· Assisting in the preparation of weekly and monthly financial results
· Doing other fun things accountants do and various miscellaneous tasks to assist the finance team
· Regulatory report preparation
Must haves:
· Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting / finance / business
· Minimum 2 years of work experience in accounting
· Working knowledge of cloud-based bookkeeping and other accounting software
· Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
· Experience preparing and analyzing financial statement accounts
· A self-starter who has the ability to work autonomously
· Ability to structure thinking in a logical manner and clearly communicate ideas
Nice to haves:
· CPA or successful completion of CFE
· A working knowledge of IFRS and financial modelling
· Busy season experience in external audit
· Experience using Netsuite
