Join Bixal’s Contracts and Pricing team, where your skills will contribute to impactful US and global development initiatives. As a Contracts and Pricing Associate, you’ll play a key role in supporting the administration of Bixal’s diverse portfolio of contracts, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and internal standards. You will assist in preparing high-quality cost proposals, contributing to Bixal’s mission of driving sustainable change. In this position, you will gain invaluable experience in government contracting and cost proposal preparation, working with a variety of donor organizations and agencies.

Location: 100% Remote: This role can work remotely from anywhere in the United States, excluding its territories. You must be legally authorized to work in the US.  Bixal does not provide visa sponsorship.  

Responsibilities

  • Assists with contract and subcontract administrative tasks under the direction of the Sr. Contracts and Pricing Manager, contributing to the team’s overall contract administration.
  • Supports the team by liaising with and collecting necessary inputs from stakeholders to meet reporting requirements, including monthly FSRS Reporting, Annual Trafficking in Persons Certifications, and CPARS.
  • Monitors and tracks requests that come through the team’s listservs, and ensures they are completed by the appropriate point of contact.
  • Facilitates executives’ signatures on approved documents, and files the fully executed versions on SharePoint, keeping internal records updated.
  • Updates existing Standard Operating Procedures, policy, and template documents based on direction from the team, ensuring all documents remain up-to-date based on changing internal and external factors.
  • Supports the Pricing Lead in the development of cost proposals, such as by filling in standard language in the cost narratives, setting up simple Excel formatting/formulas, or collecting required forms/documentation.
  • Other responsibilities as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably with U.S. federal government contracting, NGO awards, project management, grants management, and/or pricing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Organized, process-oriented, action-oriented, and a capacity to handle multiple tasks with guidance under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cost/price analysis, indefinite quantity contracts, and grants and commercial contracting highly desirable.
  • Experience with proposal budget development and management highly desirable.
  • Experience with USAID, Dept. of State, and/or GSA preferred.
