OpenTable is looking for a Collections Analyst to join our growing Finance team. You will provide daily customer service for billing/collection issue resolution and are responsible for maintaining a diversified customer portfolio. You will be expected to deep dive into Accounts Receivable processes and find opportunities for improvement as well as risk mitigation for existing processes.

This contract is for 3 months, with the possibility of extension.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming customer requests from phone and email queues

  • Research and resolve billing and collections related inquiries from customers

  • Outbound phone calls and emails, to build relationships and proactively contact customers in arrears

  • Assessing and negotiating payment plans with customers

  • Weekly review of aging reports

  • Manage refunds, account adjustments, and write offs in accordance with company policies.

  • Update and reconcile customer accounts as required

  • Maintain detailed records of interactions with customers including follow up dates and next steps.

  • Liaise with internal sales team, operational staff, and contribute to team goals

  • Ensure systems and procedures are adhered to

  • Various ad hoc projects

Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role

  • Highly organised and able to work proficiently in a high-volume environment 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-driven, resourceful and solid ability to problem solve

  • Ability to build relationships

  • High attention to detail

  • Proficiency in google workspace and microsoft office suite e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Gmail, google drive etc 

  • Previous experience using Salesforce is a plus.
