The Digital Category Manager – UGC Analyst at Bazaarvoice will partner with Target to provide analytical and digital expertise to drive greater UGC adoption and coverage across Target.com. An ideal candidate will blend disparate data sources together to strategically recommend focus areas for UGC prioritization and selling efforts on all programs. The DCM will own comprehensive reporting to track Target’s program performance and align to the Bazaarvoice account plan goals. Success in the role will be measured by the effectiveness of the reporting to achieve the defined content goals and establishing a trusted rapport with Target. This is a remote role based in the U.S., with a preference for candidates located in Minneapolis, MN.
What you’ll be doing:
- Use data to inform strategic focus selling efforts on all UGC programs.
- Analyze brand performance and share recaps on UGC content scorecard measures.
- Uncover new opportunities from informed data analysis that would benefit the Bazaarvoice and Target relationship.
- Track conversion, content volume, and coverage on monthly & quarterly basis.
- Serve as a UGC advisor and marketplace leader to bring competitive analysis, relevant articles, and trends in the UGC space.
- Partner internally with the account team, Product Marketing, Product teams and more, to strategically inform account strategy and share product learnings and ideas for enhancements.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing or data science.
- 5+ years experience in category management, retail merchandising, or retail consulting.
- High proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint.
- Experience with Database reporting and data visualization tools.
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills with a proven record of building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Deep analytical expertise with experience in gathering and interpreting data from numerous resources.
- Demonstrated thought-leadership with proven ability to influence retail strategies and achieve goals.
- Strong and effective communication, both written and verbal, with excellent presentation skills.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing and sometimes ambiguous environment.
- Must be driven, resourceful, curious, and a fast learner.
Extra Points!
- Previous experience working with/for Target, or similar retail experience.
- Experience with DOMO, certification ideal.
