We are looking for an experienced, passionate and highly organised leader to join our Brand Marketing team in its next stage of growth. As an organisation whose mission is to help those who teach, Brand Marketing drives customer advocacy and loyalty, and increases our reach by demonstrating customer understanding and creating emotional connections every day. 

As our Brand Marketing Team leader you will lead a team of talented channel executives and social engagement assistants to take our social media marketing strategy to the next level.

We’re looking for someone who can support the Brand Marketing team to deliver exceptional content all year round, managing our social media schedule across a range of channels. You’ll instil and grow a strong collaborative approach to social media marketing working with key stakeholders across Twinkl. Including, but not limited to, the wider Brand Marketing team, Product Marketing, Country and Segment Marketing and Schools so you’ll need to be great at chatting with a variety of people across the business- effective communication is a core part of this role.

You’ll need to plan ahead, making sure each part of the team knows which tasks they need to be working on, planning and leading sprints for maximum efficiency. 

This is a hands-on role where you will ensure personal delivery of objectives, building trust with our customers, and growing our brand equity through high quality content across all of our social media channels and in our communities, as well as supporting a team of 7 Marketeers to achieve their own objectives.

Ongoing projects/how you’ll spend your day:

  • Use Jira to manage backlogs, plan weekly sprints and long-term roadmaps 
  • Management of the Brand Marketing content calendar – 
  • Assigning tasks to teams and team members 
  • Ensure that clear deadlines are set and met.
  • Identify and remove any roadblocks for the team. 
  • Find and implement backlog reduction and efficiencies 
  • Ensure high output & quality of work from the team. 
  • Effectively managing your team of marketeers, their workload and the processes that support this. 
  • Supporting the channel executives in delivering on their personal objectives.

To succeed in the role, you will:

  • Be a hands on, supportive and inspirational leader who leads by example and will execute on objectives. 
  • A creative thinker, focused on continuous improvement, with the ability to spot and capitalise on trends.
  • Be extremely well organised and be able to manage multiple projects at once.
