gitlab Remote Full-time 2022-07-27

The GitLab DevOps platform empowers 100,000+ organizations to deliver software faster and more efficiently. We are one of the world’s largest all-remote companies with 1,800+ team members and values that guide a culture where people embrace the belief that everyone can contribute.

The Release team is a combined group which means that all the engineers, Frontend and Backend, report to a single Fullstack Manager, Engineering. The intention of using this model is to increase efficiency and drive results by building a process that supports the whole group's effort towards our goals. Primarily, this means that all engineers participate in conversations in the group and collaborate to solve customer problems end to end.

As a Backend Engineer on the Release team, you'll play a key role in delivering features to GitLab's Deployment Vision and improving deployment capabilities within the product for our customers. This means that while we have an exciting backlog of features ready to be built, we are also actively brainstorming, solving problems, researching and experimenting to find the right solutions for our customers.
