What You Do: As VP, Portfolio strategy, Data and Operations, you will be responsible for identifying and coordinating the interdependencies among portfolio, projects, products, data and other important strategic initiatives across the product and technology organization and coordination with the broader GTM and G&A teams. Ability to take the strategic vision and demands of the organization and drive world class execution across the product and technology group. This position reports directly to the CPO and is part of both the company and product leadership team. The role will require strong leadership as well as a meticulous detail orientation with roll-up-your sleeves hands-on mentality. This individual will lead a team of program and project managers, internal product data managers to execute product and engineering projects as well as coordinate product related GTM market activities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic portfolio planning including set up and managing the budgets, roadmap coordination, hiring plans, setting up and managing KPI and scorecards
  • Strategic product planning including set up and roadmap coordination, hiring plans, setting up and managing dashboards across the org in concert with the GTM and G&A teams
  • Ensure successful product launch (NPI) with success defined as achieving desired business outcomes measured by product KPIs, not just delivering features
  • Act as strategic partner and trusted advisor to CPO and the product leadership team to drive a sense of urgency and support a highly engaged organization
  • As a senior member of the PTG leadership team, represent and act as liaison with GTM and G&A teams on strategic company mandates
  • Lead, coach, and grow a team of talented Project managers and establishing it as a world class discipline within the company
  • Drive and ensure high quality completion of key product development initiatives ensuring optimal delivery of roadmap items
  • Drive the strategic roadmap planning exercise as well as related activities (kickoffs, DACI, workshops etc.,) working closely with product leadership and GTM leaders
  • Set-up KPI management framework including dashboards/analytics and own definition and change management around the KPI both for operational and strategic initiatives
  • Work with PTG leadership to drive key product related engagement initiatives and identify and solve for any inefficiency across the organizations
  • Measure and evaluate various product development teams, programs and process with constant eye to improve and drive efficiency of current agile processes
  • Establish and execute upon communication and enablement cadence across the organization highlighting ongoing deliverables and well as highlighting innovations utilizing multiple available channels (calls, slack, email etc.)

What You Offer:

  • 10+ years of experience in Program management OR equivalent experience leading project management or relevant function
  • At least 5 years experience leading/managing programs and projects in leadership capacity on strategic initiatives
  • Experience creating and managing relevant high-growth digital products and teams and working through the changes that come with scaling
  • Experience working with Product and engineering teams and familiarity with processes from both early stages and later stage growth teams
  • Strong project management and analytical skills and a deep understanding of how to connect the dots between strategy and execution
  • An active participant in Product build process and willingness to “get your hands dirty”
  • Demonstrated working ability to partner with GTM and G&A teams to represent the PTG team in these discussions
  • Combination of large and small company experience is ideal but the proven ability to scale in an entrepreneurial, rapid growth environment is a must
  • Strong leadership presence: Comfortable in acting as a “tie-breaker” across the organization with customer value as north star to guide decisions
  • Self-starter and entrepreneurial with ability to learn quickly and thrive under pressure in a fast paced and shifting environment.
