As ATB Wealth’s next Team Leader, Practice Management you will work with the Director, ATB Wealth Advice to define the practice management frameworks for the Financial Advisor, Wealth Advice (ATB Prosper) team. With the frameworks in place, will work in coordination with the Director to support development plans for each advisor to achieve mastery in their roles and will act as a performance coach to the advisory team. The TL, Practice Management will enable the team’s call review practice for the ATB Wealth Advice Centre and the ATB Prosper Fulfillment team to ensure our CX metrics are met, the team is leveraging all of the tools available to enhance their individual advisory practice and ensuring our compliance standards are adhered to and regulatory requirements are met.

Provides real time support, subject matter expertise, and guidance on operational processes and pursues excellence alongside a team of Financial Advisors with the end goal of delivering an amazing client experience. As an experienced leader in wealth management, this role creates and leverages a mastery ecosystem of continuous improvement, peer coaching and feedback. The TL, Practice Management will also be responsible to lead and maintain specific operational projects as it pertains to the practice management of the team.

Requirements

Team Leader, Practice Management Accountabilities:

  • Enable advisors to identify and implement practice management best practices that lead to success and ensuring that all tools, processes and techniques are leveraged.
  • Lead the call review coaching practice for the ATB Wealth Advice Centre teams by creating and leveraging a mastery ecosystem of continuous improvement, peer coaching and feedback.
  • Ensure that service standards in quality assurance and service levels are met while adhering to our compliance standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Continually strives for and encourages others towards personal and professional development and growth.
  • Establish strong working relationships with partners to maintain high levels of collaboration and resolve client issues in a timely manner and ultimately enhance their experience.
  • Ensure consistency in processes among the team to minimize errors/issues, increase efficiency, and promote best practice solutions.
  • Act as a point of escalation for advisors and establish strong working relationships with partners to maintain high levels of collaboration and resolve client issues in a timely manner and ultimately enhance their experience.
  • Lead and maintain specific operational projects as it pertains to the practice management of the team.
  • Actively participate as a subject matter expert, as required, during projects and new system implementation on behalf of the ATB Wealth Advice Centre.
  • Self manages daily activities and uses technology and efficient practices to maximize productivity for the team.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years experience within the Wealth Management industry as an Advisor and overall 5-7 yrs of advisor experience within financial services
  • Previous experience in a financial institution call centre environment would be an asset
  • Previous leadership experience is an asset
  • Competent working knowledge of Salesforce and Dataphile is an asset.
  • Post Secondary degree education or 2 year college diploma is required.
  • Completion of Canadian Securities Course, Conduct and Practices Handbook Course and Wealth Management Essentials required or plan to work towards within the first 12 months is required.
  • Financial planning designation (QAFP or CFP) or plan to work towards is an asset.
