PAR Technology is seeking a Sr. HR Business Partner.  As a strategic partner and trusted advisor to executives, the HR Business Partner will align business objectives with employees to deliver company goals.  He/she will serve as a strategic consultant to management on workforce planning, retention and engagement of our #1 competitive edge, our talent.  This role will lead and own cultural transformation and harmonization and have the ability to balance, business, organizational and individual needs. The People & Culture Business Partner will assess and anticipate HR-related needs to inform the Centers of Excellence strategies and plans. He or she will continuously assess emerging trends and develop strategies and plans to attract, retain, engage, fully leverage and develop talent. He or she will formulate partnerships with the business, organization, HR/People team and vendors to deliver value added service to executives, leadership and employees.  The successful incumbent will have strong business acumen, a strategic mindset and ability to execute with excellence.


What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum of 8 years of broad HR/ER/OD/People and Culture Experience.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational assessment and design, employee relations, DEI, talent and performance management, workforce planning, federal and state respective employment laws
  • Strong conflict management, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Successful experience building awareness on key organizational issues and presenting a relevant solution, guide departmental heads, management, and stakeholders through a collaborative and shared decision making process.
  • Effectively envision, develop, and implement  strategies to address competitive, complex business issues, cultural improvement and change management
  • Consumer-oriented, helpful and service-oriented, flexible and open to change, and highly organized and demonstrates strong work ethic. 
  • Be a creative and strategic thinker, work comfortably in group settings, be proactive and go beyond the call of duty, and have an ability to remain calm under pressure in times of uncertainty.
  • Be flexible and available to interact with employees at all levels
  • Be self-directed and motivated
  • Experience working with change management principles, tools, and methodologies.

  • Develop and execute strategies to attract, engage, retain, motivate and develop talent. 
  • Ensure alignment between the business operations and the HR practices and objectives.
  • Evaluate the performance of the organization and individual department members, enabling, and encouraging performance improvement where possible.
  • leverages workforce insights and analytics in order to focus the business’s leaders on relevant people management issues while assessing potential strategies and solutions to support rapidly changing business demands.
  • Continuously assess organization and industry trends and make recommendations and develop and execute plans to mitigate (including employee engagement, attrition, etc.)
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with legal department as needed/required
  • Provide day to day performance management and general guidance to leadership (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
  • Serve as a consultative coach and trusted advisor to executive leadership.
  • Provide HR Policy guidance and interpretation and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Manage and lead workforce planning processes and execution.
  • Provide guidance and input on organization assessment and redesign, workforce planning, succession planning
  • Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs
  • Execute and drive accountability to flawless execution of employee lifecycle processes (goals setting, performance reviews, 360’s, merit, variable compensation, etc).
