As SEO Manager, you’d establish the Level Agency approach to SEO and help each of our cross-functional teams develop skilled capacity to serve our clients. The successful candidate will be a thought-leader and tactical thinker with the capacity to develop exceptional strategies. The salary range for this position is $60K – $100K.

Your Impact:

  • Plan and implement results-driven SEO strategies with our teams and clients.
  • Develop hypothesis-based, test-and-learn approaches to SEO that fundamentally drive business outcomes.
  • Monitor performance and proactively recommend optimizations
  • Work directly with clients, communicating on strategies, timelines, performance, and next steps.
  • Execute and share SEO best practices, including keyword research, competitive analysis, page content & meta-content, page titles, etc.
  • Learn and grow your expertise, watching industry best practices and trends
  • Scope client projects and participate in new business pitches
  • Immerse yourself in a collaborative agency culture of good people doing amazing work


  • Demonstrated, measurable track record of success building SEO strategies
  • Patience and willingness to support knowledge-building across the agency. We’re a culture of learners at all levels.
  • Comfort with digital tools like BrightEdge or Semrush. Bring us your preferred platform.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills. Show us what success looks like and how to get there.
  • The ability to pick up and use digital tools, from project management software to time-tracking apps to the basic MS Office suite.
  • Familiarity with web development and HTML
  • Respect for time — their own, and others’ — we bill our clients hourly and want to use it effectively (and have time left over for friends and family)
