Senior Systems Administrator

Full Time

Website Perkins & Co

The health and well-being of our team, clients, and community is our top priority. We’re closely monitoring COVID-19 developments and following guidance from health authorities and government officials. Perkins & Co’s physical offices are open and most of our employees are working remotely. Interviews will be held virtually for the foreseeable future.

Fully remote candidates living outside the area will be considered, but preference may be given to local candidates due to the nature of responsibilities. Need relocation assistance? We’re open to discussion.

Senior IT Systems Administrator

We’re adding a Senior Systems Administrator to our IT team! We seek people who are a little better than the rest – a little smarter, more insightful, more ambitious, and a lot more fun. We hire good people and give them a good place to work. Our secrets to keeping them around are a positive culture, strong community involvement, and a dedication to continuous improvement.

What’s in it for you?

Besides competitive compensation and benefits, you would join a team of critical thinkers with high levels of technical curiosity. We have a great time digging into technical problems and opportunities in our environment. We sometimes divide and conquer, but we also love to put our heads together.

You would have ample opportunity to expand your skills and knowledge. Big things going on in the foreseeable future include single sign-on deployment, MFA deployment, implementation of new security policies, broad adoption of MS Endpoint Manager, and implementation of new detection and response technology (EDR/MDR).

Work location and schedule is flexible, although we prefer this person to live within commuting distance to our downtown Portland office so they can maintain equipment in our server room. Provided you’re flexible for business needs, you can decide whether your long-term work arrangement will be primarily remote, in-office, or hybrid.
