We are headquartered in Seattle, but are open to a remote location depending on role and if a candidate resides within the United States in a state in which we currently employ.
The Role
The Residential Operations team at Omnidian is growing rapidly. We are excited for the opportunity to serve even more clients and homeowners across the growing residential solar sector in the United States. To support this growth, we are seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead and influence new business process integration and improvement at scale. This person will collaborate cross-functionally, working with Operations, Finance, Sales, Marketing and Product teams to drive the best client and homeowner experiences. 

What You’ll Do

  • At Omnidian we believe in trust and autonomy. How you create an impact is ultimately up to you. Here is an outline of some of the things you’ll be doing:
  • Manage full lifecycle of complex cross-functional programs with considerable impact across multiple teams
  • Define the program (mission, vision etc), set objectives, use data to identify improvements with associated success metrics
  • Work autonomously in an ambiguous environment, seeking to understand business problems, automation limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions etc
  • Oversee gaps between teams, processes and systems, helping teams reduce exposure to classic failure modes
  • Solve ambiguous problems and proactively identify and mitigate risks before they become roadblocks
  • Develop, implement and govern a KPI reporting mechanism for the portfolio of initiatives required to deliver this program, providing visibility to the milestones, and performance across all projects
  • Roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary (GM mentality)
  • Communicate, communicate, communicate 

Who You Are

  • Experienced at breaking down barriers. Strong ability to build relationships and trust with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Can be hands on/scrappy when needed
  • Has a proven track record of improving the performance of business units through program management and process improvement
  • Keen appreciation and demonstrable experience of improving client/customer outcomes
  • Operates with little supervision, while keeping the strategy and high level goals of the company in mind. Very autonomous.
  • Aids department leadership in developing long-term strategies that make or inform leadership decisions. Is an expert/ has a strong understanding of business problems.
  • Supports the leadership of highly visible multidisciplinary project teams or initiatives; provides thought leadership. 

Experience You’ll Need

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience in a technology led organization
  • 5+ years of driving process improvements
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Experience That’s a Plus

  • Knowledge of the Residential Solar industry, including operations in-house and in the field
  • Understanding of Residential Solar Financing 
  • Qualifications in project management methodology and/or process improvement disciplines
