Pumpkin is looking for a highly capable individual for to join our sales team as a Regional Sales Manager.  Primary responsibilities include actively participating in leading all aspects of development of colleagues, while utilizing solution coaching, and business planning capabilities to execute overall strategies to maximize sales performance throughout the US geography.  This individual will lead and model Pumpkin Core Beliefs within the team and company. This is a remote position, with a requirement to be based in the Central region of the United States. Significant travel of at least 60% and some weekend work / travel is a requirement of the position. This position will lead and model Pumpkin Core Beliefs within the team and company.

What You’ll Do:

  • Meet overall sales objectives (quota) within US geography
  • Lead field sales colleagues in US to successfully and consistently meet their annual objectives
  • Lead specific initiatives aligned to our expectations of enhancing the team’s capabilities (e.g., Field Coaching / FCGs,  Business Planning, Technical Knowledge, Territory Management).
  • Lead all colleagues to develop and execute specific Key Accounts, Corporate Accounts, and objectives / strategies / tactics as part of their business plans
  • As appropriate, ensure successful implementation of any pilots and / or new introductions within the field-sales team
  • Align & create appropriate culture with sales leadership, sales team.
  • Excellence in colleague development and engagement
  • Increase colleague development and engagement
  • Execute individual/team calls and live meetings with each team member to review sales performance, talent management, and other key topics in each Sales Area
  • Collaborate with our Inside sales team and other departments throughout Pumpkin to create/enhance sales initiatives and performance.

  • Financial analysis skills including the ability to manage expenses and budgets
  • Verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and make thoughtful / fair decisions based on relevant information
  • Computer skills (ability to learn Pumpkin systems)
  • Undergraduate degree (BS/BA) preferred
  • Animal Health experience and knowledge of companion animal veterinary medicine preferred
