We are searching for a People Operations Associate to join the People Strategy & Operations Team. The successful individual will support Aledade’s 900 (and growing!) employees and managers in order to foster high levels of employee engagement while playing a role in growing the Aledade team. This HR professional will embody a deep commitment to ensuring the best possible employee experience to teammates across Aledade. The HR Assistant needs to be excited to join a fast-paced startup with significant opportunity for growth and make a positive contribution to the healthcare field.
 
This is a full-time opportunity reporting to the Senior HR Generalist based out of our Bethesda, MD office with the flexibility of working from home. 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a top-notch onboarding experience for new hires by managing the relationship with new hires from the time of an offer accepted, preparing for day one of employment, and throughout the first few weeks of training. This includes managing all welcome communications, fielding manager questions, and working across our People team
  • Manage the I-9 verification process for new hires
  • Maintain employee information in HRIS, creating and managing a regular cadence for auditing data in collaboration with the HR Specialist and Benefits team
  • Manage the Docusign process for employee transfers, changes, and other documentation
  • Respond to and triage inquiries from employees to the People team, including but not limited to, benefits, processes, policies, recruiting, and onboarding
  • Maintain our employment visa tracking list, proactively flagging upcoming expirations and extensions.  May work with our external immigration attorney to file any visa related paperwork
  • Work cross collaboratively with our internal IT/Corporate Systems team for new hire computer and access setup
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development to support LMS account creation for new hires
  • Collaborate with the Office of the President to facilitate new hire introductions during Monday’s All Staff meetings
  • Ensure that federal and state compliance notices remain updated on the intranet
  • Partner with the Senior HR Generalist to review updates to federal and state employment requirements to help ensure that Aledade remains in compliance
  • Partner with the Sr. HR Generalist on the application process for cultural awards
  • Collaborate with the Payroll Specialist to monitor the People ticketing system, respond to questions, and assign tickets to the relevant stakeholders as needed
  • Manage the exit process, including resignation letter retention and exit letter communication to the departing employee

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of human resources/people operations experience, preferably in a fast-paced, rapidly growing company
  • HRIS data entry experience, preferably with UKG 
  • A collaborative team player with a roll-up your sleeves mentality
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented and self-motivated to produce work that meets high standards
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion is critical
