We are a Series D-funded logistics technology company valued at more than $1B (Unicorn Status) that has increased our revenue by 200% year over year, led by a leadership team of logistics veterans, technology veterans, engineers, product leaders, and data scientists continuing to disrupt this $800 billion industry.
We are seeking a results driven strategic Partnership Development Manager who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced global startup company.  This person will be chartered with strategizing and driving revenue for Loadsmart’s platform 
REPORTING TO: Nicholas Curattalo; Director of Logistics Services & Saas Partnerships 
LOCATION: Remote US/Canada

What you get to do:

  • Lead complex, multifaceted deals with prospective enterprise level partners across the logistics service provider landscape
  • Be a strategic thought partner to team members in different parts of the business, working closely with other partner team members, Ops, Sales, and Product leadership to formulate strategy and identify how to drive impact through partnerships
  • Build consensus behind deal strategy and timely support for deal execution across diverse internal audiences, from cross-functional team members to senior executives
  • Lead the development of long term, mutually beneficial relationships with senior executives of current and prospective partners
  • Define the right balance between practicality and securing value across a long time horizon
  • Refine strategy deal frameworks through negotiation based on Loadsmart’s goals, partner team goals, and industry situations
  • You are an expert at identifying, recruiting, enabling, and cultivating relationships with key strategic partners
  • You know how to work cross-functionally to execute your vision and strategy 
  • You’ll be executing on the partner team GTM strategies that promote Loadsmart platform products and SaaS products through partners, and adapting our approach to partner programs

You have experience:

  • Channel sales oriented background in digital brokerage technology products focused on multiple partner types
  • A deep understanding of and extensive professional networking within the North American logistics and transportation industry including asset, non-asset and asset-light multimodal brokerage, 3PL/4PLs, and other logistics services providers
  • Identified and recruited logistics and transportation companies
  • Proven ability to execute channel strategy with quantifiable results with key partners
  • Hands-on approach to problem-solving, and a desire to own all parts of the partner lifecycle
  • Proven success working in very fast moving and dynamic environments with high-powered sales teams
  • Experience selling SaaS technology is a bonus!
