Yelp is looking for a Marketing Operations Associate to help us deliver operational excellence within our growing B2B Marketing team. The ideal candidate has a solid business sense balanced with strong system technical aptitude. They will play a key role in the success of our marketing programs, processes and should be very comfortable in leveraging marketing automation technologies. We’re looking for someone highly detail oriented, relentlessly process driven and a stellar communicator both written and verbal.

This is a full time role based in the United States.

Where you come in:

  • You will assist in managing the scoping, planning and prioritization of multi-channel campaigns
  • You will align with stakeholders to clearly define campaign objectives, requirements, priorities and timelines for seamless hand-off to the internal campaign ops team
  • You will work with campaign ops team to review and validate campaign details, clean up errors and proactively identify solutions for bugs identified during QA
  • You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing technology, product and engineering to deliver scalable solutions
  • You will serve as the day-to-day primary point of contact between cross-functional teams, managing relationships, answering and/or addressing requirements clarification questions as needed
  • You will partner with the campaign ops team to determine campaign timelines, milestone dates and track progress to ensures successful campaign deployment
  • You will be accountable for the accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of development efforts by addressing blockers and escalating risks and issues as needed
  • You will lead regular check-ins with key stakeholders to continuously set expectations about campaign development timelines, identify at risk dates and devise risk mitigation tactics
  • You will work with campaign ops team to troubleshoot and conduct root cause analyses, define improvement recommendations, and resolve escalations
  • You will monitor deliverability for all email campaigns, keeping benchmark documentation, flagging deliverability concerns and providing solutions when necessary
  • You will identify opportunities and propose solutions to improve existing processes or automate processes to improve and increase the team’s ability to deliver marketing campaigns efficiently
  • You will stay current with developing marketing systems ecosystems and other system best practices to drive continuous improvement

What it takes to succeed:

  • You have 3+ years of marketing automation experience (ie. Marketo, Eloqua, Hubspot, Pardot)Ability to translate and communicate complex technical concepts in non-technical, business terms for various stakeholders
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree
  • You understand high-level platform capabilities to compare with stakeholder requirements and make suitable recommendations.
  • You have a mix of marketing strategy, project management, customer journey implementation, and email deployment experience, with an emphasis on platform knowledge and expertise
  • You are passionate about marketing technology and supporting data-driven marketing & innovation
  • You are a hands-on problem solver with proven technical background to identify and solve sophisticated business problems
  • You have strong project management skills and expertise designing and implementing process improvements
  • You have the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, priorities, and projects simultaneously
  • You have a service-oriented attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
