The Marketing Operations Associate will be supporting the marketing operations team by being our data guru and liaison to the commercial team. You’ll be the gatekeeper to our marketing and contact data, analyzing key marketing metrics and surfacing critical marketing engagements to create and covert leads while making sure our sales teams have the latest marketing resources to help drive revenue.

A successful candidate for this role will have a passion for data and strong analytical skills. You are a Hubspot administrator with a strong background in Salesforce Sales Cloud. You will support the day-to-day marketing operations including the ongoing effort to optimize framework around lead distribution and multi-touch attribution reporting.

Key Responsibilities of role:  

  • Manage and maintain data quality and segmentation efforts through regular hygiene processes, data/campaign governance and monitoring/improving of target audiences
  • Manage data flow between our databases to surface key insights to sales leads (Hubspot and Salesforce)
  • Analyze performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations to improve funnel performance, lead/opportunity conversion rates and sales growth
  • Support design and implementation of multi-touch attribution model in Salesforce to track and identify trends in marketing influence
  • Create, execute, and manage lead nurture workflows in Hubspot
  • Partner on strategic projects with emphasis on cross-functional teamwork
  • Assist in the data management to support email deliverability by making sure all emails are delivered reliably, all invalid emails are cleansed from the system and suppressed from email sends
  • Develop and implement strategies and processes that ensure accurate and complete data entering the marketing database
  • Build and maintain system components for lead routing, lead qualification, lead tagging, customer segmentation and data integrity per business needs
  • Support the sales team as needed

Familiarity with Key marketing tools:  

  • Salesforce 
  • Hubspot or similar email applications

Experience/ Requirements:  

  • Experience working with Salesforce, including in depth knowledge of key objects (campaigns, Accounts, Contacts and Leads), the native Hubspot sync, and Salesforce reporting.
  • Ability to work with large datasets, including lead scoring and data enrichment
  • Strong decision-making, problem solving and conceptual thinking abilities
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking 
  • Creative problem-solving mindset  
  • Finely honed Organization and Project Management skills 
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of the importance of attention to detail while balancing time management
  • Ability to work effectively independently and collaboratively
  • Comfort with ambiguity and desire to solve new challenges
  • Proven ability to deliver against timelines  
  • Ideal candidate has a proven history of success in marketing operations in an internal marketing department, bringing brand, product, or service to a B2B audience
