The International WELL Building Institute™ (IWBI™) is seeking an individual with a strong interest in human health and well-being to join our team as a Program Support Intern to assist with day-to-day operations for IWBI programs. 

As our Program Support Intern, you’ll play an integral role in program management by helping to track, maintain and improve standard operating procedures for IWBI programs such as IWBI Membership and WELL Performance Testing. You are solutions-oriented, collaborative, and have a knack for project management, process improvement and problem-solving. You exhibit a strong sense of ownership, are detail oriented, and have superior organizational and time management skills. 

The Customer Success team is composed of individuals with diverse professional and educational backgrounds. We serve as experts in the implementation of WELL and its evidence-based health and wellbeing strategies. Our team provides support to WELL projects and partners, helping customers navigate the certification process, derive the greatest benefits possible from WELL programs, develop solutions for challenges, and inspire best practices for implementing WELL.


Program Support Intern Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day operations for IWBI Membership and WELL Performance Testing:
    • Create, contribute to and coordinate program communications, such as newsletters, webcast and training invitations, emails and meeting summaries
    • Regularly monitor program utilization, engagement and feedback
    • Assist with program recruitment, onboarding of new members, annual renewal processes and member questions
    • Participate in team meetings, cross-departmental meetings, event planning and other logistics as necessary
    • Support initiatives and workflows as part of regular IWBI programming

Program Support Intern Profile & Prerequisites:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree (or working towards it) and/or equivalent working experience in a field of study related to one or more of the following: 
    • Business Administration
    • Communications 
    • Health Promotion
    • Project Management
    • Building Operations (facility management, property management)
    • Environmental Sciences (natural sciences, environmental management, sustainability, ecology, biology)
  • Minimum 2+ years working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and time management skills
  • Demonstrated success with process improvement
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator
  • High proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office

Program Support Intern Desirable Experience (not required):

  • Previous experience working with building certification programs and/or membership programs
  • Experience working in a client-facing role 
  • Previous experience working in a Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) platform (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk, HubSpot)

Compensation: This is a paid internship. Hourly rates are competitive and commensurate with prior experience.
