About the job

This position is needed to align business objectives with People strategies, programs, processes, and tactics across our Administrative Business Partners (ABP) and Chief of Staff (CoS) teams. You will coach and partner with employees at all levels, ensuring an exceptional experience through the entire employee lifecycle. You will be an integral part of the growing HRBP team, partnering closely with regional and functional HRBPs and with COEs across the people team. 



In this role, you’ll:

  • Help the team establish and iterate on ABP and CoS brand, mission, vision, and values in partnership with the teams
  • Partner with the team to develop career development frameworks and performance evaluation criteria to ensure equitable hiring, job leveling, and performance calibration across all ABPs and CoS roles  
  • Build and manage programs that support ABP and CoS professional development
  • Create processes/systems to help ABP and CoS teams to scale in the support of the business units
  • Establish and maintain healthy relationships with cross-functional business partners (Finance, HR, Recruiting, Legal) in support of the teams programs and goals
  • Work with line managers and employees to address various employee relations issues, fairly representing all interests
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication and coaching skills with a proven ability to develop trusting relationships and influence 
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance

  • 5+ years experience in an HR roles partnering with corporate employees and managers
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
  • Strong ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and exercise judgment with sensitive and confidential issues
  • Strong data analysis skills and ability to share recommendations with stakeholders
  • Demonstrates employee focus and managing proactive communication to ensure optimum HR support
  • Proficiency with HR systems, such as Workday and ServiceNow
  • Growth mindset, with an aptitude for learning and problem solving in a complex, ambiguous, changing environment



  • Previous work experience as an Executive Assistant, Chief of Staff or similar function (Operations, Recruiting, HR, etc.) for C-suite level a plus
  • Prior experience with team building and talent development 
  • Background or experience with HR processes  
  • Appreciation for the challenges of supporting a growing team of diverse personalities and programs and implementing methodologies to scale 
  • The ability to value teamwork at all levels, while remaining proactive, resourceful, and efficient

  • The estimated pay range for this role, based in Colorado, is $109,280.00-$136,600.00
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state. This role is also eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
