Who you are.

You are a software implementation enthusiast. You are a player-coach and a natural leader. You have a take-charge attitude and a passion for helping customers tap into valuable software solutions swiftly and efficiently, positioning them for long-term success. You find excitement in mentoring, inspiring, and empowering your teams. And you have a proven track record leading an implementation team to success with multiple, complex software offerings and customer types.

What you’ll do.

We are passionate about building easy to use, hyper-fast technology that enables healthcare employers to collaborate with candidates more quickly than ever believed possible. You will lead the team in charge of ensuring these healthcare employers get started on the right foot with a stellar implementation, positioning them for ultimate success with the Kamana platform.

As the Head of Implementation, you will work directly with our VP of Experience to set the strategic direction for how we deliver a world-class healthcare staffing platform to healthcare facilities and staffing companies. Every day will look a little different, but in general, you will do things like:

  • Establish and continuously iterate upon the implementation best practices that drive successful implementations for an array of customer types/sizes and product offerings.
  • Work in concert with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Kamana’s customers to define implementation processes, sequencing, priorities, milestones, and timelines; while keeping everything on time and all appropriate stakeholders informed.
  • Hire, mentor, and motivate a passionate Implementation team by providing clear direction, removing obstacles, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration.
  • Fill a player-coach role in supporting and consulting the implementation team with new account set-up, data migration, user training, and ensuring a smooth hand-off to the customer success team.
  • Manage and establish processes for data migration efforts from legacy platforms, leveraging internal resources and external partners to manually and electronically migrate data needed for unique customer implementations.

Experimentation is frequent at Kamana. Comfortability with being uncomfortable is a must.

What you’ve done before.

You have proven experience as an implementation leader in a successful fast-moving company building software for the healthcare space. During this time, the company has grown rapidly and successfully as a result of your contribution. Along the way, you have:

  • Gained comprehensive experience implementing various customer types on complex technical solutions across a variety of different service offerings.
  • Developed strong project management skills, with experience managing and scaling an implementation team.
  • Navigated high-stakes software implementations for healthcare organizations at scale.
  • Been hands-on with recruiting, managing, structuring, and growing implementation teams, having a demonstrated ability to foster cross-team collaboration.
  • Proven effectiveness in overseeing multiple team members and simultaneous projects/initiatives, while ensuring cross-team collaboration.

It’d be cool if you’ve done this.

Experience with staffing technology will get you to the top of the list. Having been on the ground floor of a fast-growing startup, with a desire to repeat this journey, may also set you apart from other candidates, but is not required as long as you are up for the challenge!

Although experience in healthcare is ideal, we’re open to speaking with any candidate that has executed within a similarly highly regulated industry with deeply entrenched legacy technology that requires true innovation and excellence to succeed (e.g. Fintech, HR Tech).

This is a full-time exempt position with an expected salary of $110,000/year. Learn more about Kamana and how we work.
