PAR Technology has an exciting opportunity! The Finance Analyst, FP&A plays a crucial role in supporting intelligent, financially sound decision making for our Punchh Business Unit. The right person for this role is a systems thinker with a passion for developing and maintaining simple and sustainable business processes and enjoys translating data into insights efficiently and effectively. This highly visible role offers career opportunities and progression in a high-growth environment, as well as exposure to key leaders in the organization. This position will work closely with the senior management team of Punchh providing financial planning and analysis support as we execute strategic growth initiatives.


What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business (CPA or MBA a plus)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in financial planning and analysis role and/or accounting supporting SaaS or technology company environments
  • Must possess strong finance skills, analytical problem-solving ability, and solid business acumen
  • Passion for using data to drive better decision making and connecting operational metrics with financial results
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of the nuance of finance in rapidly changing environment, including monthly and quarterly updates and rolling forecasts
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across organizations and functions while utilizing resources effectively
  • Systems Knowledge & Experience
    • Management Reporting System (Planful, Anaplan, Adaptive etc…)
    • Data Visualization (Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Domo etc…)
    • NetSuite or similar ERP experience
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and handle simultaneous assignments under tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment.


Why We Need You

  • Help Prepare and maintain the monthly financial package which provides key insights, P&Ls and financial performance indicators.
  • Be a business partner / liaison with key business leaders.
    • Analyze the monthly financial data and help the Business Leader focus on what’s important and specific actionable items moving forward
    • Understand and communicate the narrative of specific business areas
  • Support and Prepare the Annual Operating Plan Process including workforce/headcount planning
  • Prepare and maintain quarterly reforecast process supporting the changing business needs
  • We are changing our FP&A focus to be thought leaders and not data gatherers…you can be part of this team
    • Assist as a business process owner (BPO) key internal technology implementations for Punchh
    • Assist in automating the reporting process leveraging reporting tools
  • Drive accountability by maintaining key metrics/KPIs of the business and develop as needed and reporting for the business line, operating segment and Corporate FP&A
