The Director, Account Management is responsible for the success of their team and the entire SMB segment of customers. Your mission is to help customers grow by driving value and providing creative solutions to their business problems using Inside Real Estate’s strong portfolio of products and services. Success is measured by specific key performance indicators such as client retention, service expansion, and engagement from agents within our growing Marketplace.


  • Consistently achieve quarterly customer expansion and retention goals
  • Own the SMB account journey by establishing key touch points and holding your team accountable to delivering on those touchpoints.
  • Attract, hire and manage a team of talented Customer Success Managers, each of whom will manage 300+ accounts.
  • Drive adoption and Engagement through consulting and strategizing with your clients
  • Analyze client use-cases and recommend best practices to optimize product usage, adoption and ROI
  • Maintain retention goals across your team’s book of business.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize customer requests and internal responsibilities to meet KPIs (Retention, Platform Growth & Marketplace Adoption)
  • Work with onboarding managers and implementation specialists to ensure a seamless transition into live status.
  • Effectively support your team in managing a high volume of inbound customer requests, align them with internal resources, and anticipate their business needs.
  • Identify challenges and engage in proactive client meetings to positively impact customer loyalty and to align business goals
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders


  • 7+ years in a customer-facing role (Account Management / Sales), ideally for enterprise software, service or Software as a Service (SaaS) company
  • Ability to manage complex issues and coordinate solutions across multiple business channels
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to present to clients, peers and superiors
  • Proactive, well-organized, and strong attention to detail
  • Passionate about customer success and thrives in a fast paced environment
  • Critical thinking and problem solving
  • Knowledge of the real estate industry
  • Strong team player
