About the role:

We are seeking a qualified Marketing Analyst to join our growing analytics team. In this position, you will partner closely with the Marketing & Growth business partners towards guiding their business decisions using data & analytics. We are looking for a marketing analytics SME who will help build channel analytics across paid/ organic and other marketing channels. We are looking for a data-focused analyst to strategize and help optimize digital channel marketing as a part of Marketing. This rewarding opportunity will enable you to make a big impact in our organization.

Additionally, the analysts at Mynd do not just work on building metrics dashboards and reporting needs, but are also challenged to help inform business decisions through predictive analytics. Analysts are empowered to challenge assumptions using data, analytics & modeling to revamp analytics at scale.

Responsibilities:  

  • Build data foundation and baseline analytics for our growing business in Marketing, own the pod relationship with business, engineering and product; be the lead analyst for Marketing and help build a rich data source for Marketing
  • Evaluate campaign performance using ROI, CTR, CPC, CPM,CAC, CLTV and attribution modeling against marketing objectives. AB Testing analysis to help marketing with messaging & content performance across various channels
  • Analytics around prospect/ customer demographics, funnel performance, campaign efficiencies
  • The analytics mindset – Use lessons learned during analysis to identify where processes can be refined, or data entry can be restructured. Play a key role in leading and supporting these data initiatives. Collaborate with Data Engineering and BI teams to build data & reporting needs for business dashboards and metrics reporting. 
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for various reporting software utilized throughout the organization; key contributor to the analytics strategy at Mynd
  • Be the pod analytics partner in establishing and driving best practices as a part of the data team
  • Work alongside our creative team to optimize and test new elements within paid funnels
  • Help optimize campaigns, audiences, creatives, budgets, and bids across multiple channels to target ROI/Performance goals
  • Self driven, data obsessed and data curious to drive analytics vision of the organization

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in the marketing industry
  • 2-4  years of analyst experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Science or Engineering, STEM or similar fields 
  • Advanced proficiency with Documentation (Confluence JIRA), Sisense, Python & SQL (Snowflake) along with demonstrated experience working with large data sets and/or databases
  • Experience with marketing platforms such as Salesforce, Marketo, Segment, usertesting.com 
  • Experience in DataRobot and DBT preferred
  • Strong analytical skills along with the confidence in story telling using data to influence strategy
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead conversations with business, product and engineering teams
  • Experience with structured coding practices; attention to detail and deadlines 
  • Experience in home building/construction or an understanding of the construction or renovation process is beneficial
  • While the above qualifications are preferred, they are not required. An individual with advanced problem-solving skills, a strong sense of ownership, and an ability to work autonomously would have a strong foundation in which to become a successful Marketing Analyst
