LiveRamp's Legal team is looking for a super sharp, highly-motivated, hard-working business-minded attorney to join our team supporting our commercial transactions and advising teams throughout the company on legal issues spanning our various products and services. This role will be based in any of our US located offices or remote  and will interface with sales and product to negotiate and execute on a wide range of exciting company initiatives requiring creative and proactive legal guidance. This is an opportunity to make a high-impact contribution to a fast-paced organization operating on the cutting-edge of the Ad/MarTech industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate and draft a wide variety of commercial agreements including Terms of Service Agreements with Enterprise Customers in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with the ability to capture complex legal and business concepts in a clear, concise, and easy-to-understand manner.
  • Manage Responses to Third-Party Subpoenas
  • Advise business units on legal issues of first impression.
  • Respond promptly to the demands of an active sales team
  • Collaborate with numerous internal functions, including sales, customer success, business development, product, and engineering on the sales cycle, and risk mitigation.
  • Support the business and legal team members on legal review for Request for Proposal (RFPs), security questionnaires, and a variety of other customer-driven requests.
  • Work with Legal Operations to create efficiencies within the legal department.
  • Review and maintain existing LiveRamp contract forms and templates to align with proper product descriptions
  • Contribute toward building a great company.

Qualifications:

  • JD with admission to at least one state bar 
  • 3 to 5 years of commercial legal experience either working at an in-house legal department (in-house experience at a SaaS or similar technology company a plus) or at a law firm
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to dive into the business and technology.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, multi-tasking, and independence.
  • Excellent communicator both internally and externally.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Sense of humor and positive attitude
  • Grit and Resilience

Bonus Points:

  • Prior in-house experience 
  • Expertise in any of the following areas: Licensing, IP, Litigation
